Staying Safe on the Market
New Covent Garden Market is a busy, commercial site and it is important you are aware and conscious of your Health & Safety at all times when in the Market. This is especially important overnight when there are large numbers of Forklift Truck and commercial vehicle movements.
Your safety on the Market is of paramount importance to us and so when on site we advise you follow these safety tips:
- Everyone is encouraged to wear a High Visibility Jacket when on site and especially in the areas where vehicles are moving/loading/unloading.
- Pedestrians should always use the walkways (clearly indicated by a 'yellow man') and take care around the site to ensure their and other users' safety.
