Join us for a Trade Open Day in the Flower Market on Wednesday 28 June

02/06/2017 - 14:54

On Wednesday 28 June we’re holding a Trade Open Day in the Flower Market, for trade and businesses only.

Look round the biggest Flower Market in the UK and meet 20 amazing wholesalers. See our bright, modern Flower Hall that’s jam-packed with flowers, plants, foliage and floral sundries. Come and experience the beauty, the buzz and, of course, the banter.

And if you already know the new place like the back of your hand, join us for a special Flower Market day.

Flower Hall in the Flower Market

A cinema in the Flower Market for one day only. Watch our short film of the move to the new Flower Market featuring the people you know and love. Pop in anytime. The cinema will be in units A2-A4 (the front left of the Flower Hall, near Door 1).

Enjoy a free drink and snack on us. Just come and see us in the cinema to get your voucher.

During the Trade Open Day, it’s free entry and parking.

Hi Debby The Flower Market is

Hi Debby
The Flower Market is open for trading from around 4-10am, Monday-Saturday, although some of our wholesalers do stay open later. If you'd like to come have a look around, you can come down after 8:30. Deliveries of British flowers come in for Monday and Thursday mornings, so they're both good days to visit the market when it'll be bursting with flowers.

A great way to encourage

A great way to encourage trade customers back to the market! Perhaps CGMA should consider making the market trade only from Monday to Friday given our current restrictions on space to make it easier for business customers that buy in quantity? The market could then be opened up to the public on Saturday with extended opening hours and free entry?

Hi Mark We tell members of

Hi Mark
We tell members of the public that if they want to come to the market, they can do so after 8.30am. We'll be putting up signs at the entrance to the market soon saying this to make it really clear. We'll also be making sure that children/buggies and dogs that shouldn't be in the market, aren't in the market. Ultimately it's up to our wholesalers who they sell to, but through these steps we are trying to make it more clear that trade customers are our absolute priority.

Totally agree

Hi I'm sure somewhere I saw

Hi I'm sure somewhere I saw that you could book a tour on the 28th. Is it still available? I'm coming with a person who has not been before and I haven't yet visited the new site, so it would be great if we could be included.
