Cassandra, pictured below, joined CGMA in January following a restructure and brings a wealth of experience to the senior management team.
She's spent the past nine years at Thames Water where her most recent role was as Head of IT Business Management, gaining valuable experience in monthly reporting, forecasting and budget cycles. Cassandra was Finance Manager for the Thames Tideway Tunnel project, constructing London’s new super sewer and latterly the Head of Digital Business Management. Previously she had also spent five years at Avis Europe Ltd as Senior Internal Auditor.
Speaking of her new role, Cassandra said: "I am delighted to be joining CGMA and becoming part of the team that is transforming New Covent Garden Market. Whilst I am joining at a challenging time amidst Brexit and Covid-19, there is much to be excited about and my newly created role will allow CGMA to continue to support and guide its tenants through this tumultuous time. I very much look forward to working with like-minded individuals to see the market thrive through its redevelopment and beyond."
The CGMA is redeveloping New Covent Garden Market to create a leading horticultural market that will redefine the role a wholesale hub in a capital’s city centre. Cassandra’s new role will be crucial to this long-term project, which is set to deliver brand new, modern market buildings and facilities in Nine Elms for the 175 businesses it currently houses, as well as fostering new food businesses in New Covent Garden Market’s Food Exchange.
