Italian fresh produce specialist Euro Harvest is inviting clients to ‘taste the authenticity’ of the wholesale experience at New Covent Garden Market when opening the doors of its wholesale unit to the customer-representing public at large between 9am and 2pm this Saturday, December 20th.

“For one day only we’re showcasing our festive products alongside the fresh ingredients that you need to create traditional Italian dishes this Christmas,” says Euro Harvest Sales Director Stefano Mor, who ran his own fresh produce business before joining the Euro Harvest team in 2024.

The event will be hosted by Euro Harvest’s owner Franco Antonucci and his wife Michela, who acts as a brand ambassador. “We’re keen to show our clients what we do and how we’re just one part of the many amazing fresh produce businesses that make up New Covent Garden Market,” says Stefano, adding: “We’ve invited chefs and business owners who we work with, so they can see and taste the authenticity of the wholesale experience. We want to create new face-to-face connections between everyone who loves Italian produce.”

Two of Euro Harvest’s clients will be on hand to provide a selection of their Italian products at the open house event. Take a Bite and Smile will be sampling their vegan Italian meals - usually sold from their shop on Battersea’s Northcote Road - alongside specialist importer Domomea, which brings olive oil, organic honey, torrone, Durum pasta and lots more direct from the Italian island of Sardinia.

Euro Harvest is just one of three Italian wholesaler specialists based in the Fruit & Vegetable Market, alongside Vincenzo’s and La Sovrana.
