Four businesses at New Covent Garden Flower Market have teamed up with Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children to support a fundraising event for the famous London charity.
Bloomfield Wholesale Florist Ltd, R French & Sons Ltd, Green & Bloom and DG Wholesale Flowers have donated 300 single stem roses (100 each in red, white and pink), which will decorate the tables at a fundraising event, held at one of the capital’s newest venues, The Londoner hotel, located on Leicester Square. “It’s a wonderful organisation and we’re really happy to support such a great charity,” says Michelle Hardcastle, of Bloomfields.
Known by the acronym GOSH, Great Ormond Street Hospital hosts an annual fundraiser called ‘Love GOSH’, a gala dinner with a luxury raffle which aims to raise a total of £500,000 for children’s cancer care services and research at the hospital, located close to Russell Square in Holborn.
The Love GOSH event will see 360 London-based guests invited to support the wonderful work of GOSH, with the Flower Market’s involvement reflected in a brochure given to guests. “Thank you so much for this amazing donation,” says Lilly O’Brien, Event Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. “We really appreciate your generosity and this amazing support of GOSH.”
