The caring team at County Supplies have been hard at work over the last few weeks organising a toy appeal on behalf of The Salvation Army.
Each year, The Salvation Army distributes gifts to families in need and, sadly, this year the charity is expecting an increase in the number of families seeking assistance.
Robert Hurren, Founder and Managing Director of County Supplies (pictured below), said: “To help, we’re proudly supporting The Salvation Army’s Christmas Toy Appeal by donating new toys for boys and girls aged 0-16 years old.
“Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who donated, we raised over £7,000 and collected a huge range of gifts including toys, vouchers and clothes. We have been overwhelmed by both the toy and money donations we’ve received from people in the Market community, as well as friends and family. It was amazing. The image only shows a small amount of the toys we collected,” said Robert.
Everything was delivered last week to The Salvation Army in Balham, to be wrapped and distributed to local London families.
Robert added: “A huge thank you to everyone who donated – you will be bringing happiness to so many families. And a special shout-out to the County Supplies team and particularly Kirsty, Sira, Louise, and Odette (pictured above) for their dedication and hard work in organising this wonderful initiative.
“From all of us at County Supplies, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!”
