On Wednesday, the Flower Market hosted the West End actress Patsy Ferran who plays Eliza Doolittle in the Old Vic production of Pygmalion.
The old Covent Garden was of course where Eliza plied her trade and also met Professor Higgins, who attempts to turn her into a fair lady. Patsy has visited Covent Gardens old and new to research the role of Eliza and understand a little more about being a flower seller on the Market.
The visit was filmed and an interview with Patsy will be featured in Tatler magazine when the play opens in September. A photographer from The Telegraph newspaper also turned up to photograph the visit.
