Flower Market open for in-person buying from Monday, 12 April

24 Feb, 2021

Following the Government's announcement to further ease England's lockdown (on Monday, 5 April), we wanted to confirm the Flower Market will reopen for in-person buying on Monday, 12 April

We’re delighted that New Covent Garden Flower Market is open for in-person buying from Monday, 12 April.

If you are visiting New Covent Garden Flower Market, please ensure you are following current government guidance. This includes wearing a face mask or face covering, maintaining a 2-metre social distance and washing or sanitising your hands regularly.

There will be traffic marshals in place directing commercial vehicles to park downstairs, with all private vehicles directed to park upstairs. We'll have reinstated the 20 minute free-parking grace period from midnight on Monday 12 April, replacing the extended 45 minutes which was in place to support the market's call/click and collect operation.

The Garden Café at the Flower Market will open but as a workplace canteen. Under Government guidelines this means that our traders are able to enjoy their food and drinks inside the café but that unfortunately customers are only able to buy food or drink to take-away.
