Next week, Food Exchange based food waste and insecurity charity FoodCycle is working with its ambassador, MasterChef: The Professionals finalist and Michelin-trained chef Danilo Cortellini, to put on a fundraising Italian supper club.
Danilo has created a special four-course menu for the occasion, which will include burrata with roast pumpkin, almonds, pomegranate and balsamic dressing; cime di rapa (turnip tops greens) arancini, with chilli and garlic oil; uovo in raviolo San Domenico with truffle; and amaretto and cinnamon tiramisu.
It’s all taking place at Mission Kitchen in New Covent Garden Market’s Food Exchange and tickets are £65, with a glass of Prosecco, canapés, the full four-course set menu and wine included in the price.
