Plants from New Covent Garden Market used to brighten up Nine Elms

Some of the streets around New Covent Garden Market were spruced up with new plants from the Flower Market last weekend, as part of a community clean-up event sponsored by Covent Garden Market Authority (CGMA).

Fuelled by breakfast from the Market Café, volunteers from the local community spent a day litter-picking and brightening up the area with new plants from Flower Market wholesaler, Evergreen Exterior Services Ltd.

The community clean-up helped to get the Nine Elms area looking its best ahead of the annual Happy Streets Festival, which took place on Saturday 10 July.
