The Roach family has served Londoners with fresh fruit from traditional barrows around the west end of the capital for several decades and Chris Roach has been trading out of New Covent Garden Market for 30 years, having started out in the industry aged 14. Today, Chris and Alfie operate a fruit, veg and dairy delivery service and believe their products, quality of service and friendly, smiling faces are the key factors in their success.

Having established a market for customers keen on sustainable production and supply chains, the business has recently tapped into the growing market for plant-based meat alternatives, working with supplier Moving Mountains to introduce plant-based hot dogs, ‘bleeding burgers’, fish fingers, fish fillets and meatballs to its customer base.
