L Mills is a fourth generation family business that has been specializing in the production of pot plants and pot bedding for many years. The nursery consists of 12500 m2 of modern glass, 2500 m2 of modern polythene tunnel and extensive outside production areas all on a 10 hectare site. An extra 600 square meters of poly tunnel were added in 2003. During 2004 a new climate control computer was installed to improve our control over the glasshouse climates.
We deal extensively with prestige clients in London and the South east of England who require the highest standards in their plants. As well as supplying our stand in Covent Garden market with our complete range of products.
We are always looking at new and innovative ideas and products and work very closely with our suppliers and breeders from around Europe, including Selecta Klemm in Germany, Beekenkamp and S & G in Holland, Gasa Young plants in Denmark and Earley ornamentals and Ball Colgrave in the UK.
We are very aware of the increasing move towards green products and have a Green policy statement available, which covers, composts, biological control, energy and recycling.
The Covent Garden Stand N12a is open Monday to Friday 3:00 am to 10:30am except bank holidays. The office is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The nursery is also open Saturday and Sunday Mornings through out the spring and summer. Contacts: - Ian Mills.
