Exciting opportunity to join our small talented team as a junior florist in our flower shop on Exmouth Market, Clerkenwell. This job is perfect for anyone with some floristry experience keen to be mentored by a senior florist accomplished in shop and event floristry. We are a growing flower business so there is plenty of opportunity for growth and career development in this role for the right person.
You will be working in our Exmouth Market store 3-4 days a week and will be responsible for;
- Work at our front counter serving customers with flowers from stand, making bouquets with / for shop customers. Be based at outside counter in peak all footfall hours.
- Covering our shop counter when necessary on rota, doing jobs such as making wraps and shop dried bunches at counter in between serving customers and maintaining shop.
- Supporting lead florist with making of online orders (may just be packing of orders when busy, depends what else is going on).
- Keep on top of stock of dried designs.
- Keep on top of and keep replenished dried bunches in shop. Keep display looking immaculate of dried displays.
- Deep clean all vases (deep clean full vase change 2-3 times a week?).
- Keep an eye on shop ready made bunches keeping immaculately displayed / refreshing them.
- Keep up stock of wraps and cut ribbons.
- Keep up stock of bags etc in florists area so that everything is there ready to use and kept tidy.
- Keep florists workspaces clean and tidy.
- Conditioning flower deliveries.
- Wrapping seasonal bunches, refreshing wraps when they get ratty.
- Keep store room clean and tidy.
- Clean , check and pack away hire items when returned back to us
