Elizabeth Marsh Floral Design are looking for a Senior Florist to join our team. We are looking for a candidate, with at least 4 years event/contract floristry experience, creative and commercially minded.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Designing, planning, sourcing and arranging floral contracts, designing and creating wedding and event flowers and quotes.
- Flower refresher runs (which will require some early starts).
- Responding to events, contracts and wedding enquiries by phone or email.
- Liaising with clients and venues on install of weddings, contracts and events.
- Producing quotes and buying lists, sourcing and buying of flowers and sundries whilst efficiently maintaining supplier relationships.
- Ensure all jobs are produced and installed on time and to spec.
- Onsite installations for weddings, events and contracts
- Processing of orders
- General daily floristry related tasks in the studio
- Supporting the Studio Manager with production related tasks
About you:
- You need to have an excellent knowledge of flowers and foliage seasonality/pricing/availability/colour schemes etc. What works well together, what lasts well, what is suitable within various environments and usage etc.
- You will need to have exceptional communication and time management skills.
- You will need to be computer literate with good knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn our project management programs.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Full UK Drivers Licence is A MUST. Delivering and installing arrangements is vital to this role
- Competitive salary will depend on your experience.
