An exciting opportunity to join our close-knit team on the beautiful island of Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. We are a floral events and retail business, with a busy shop and studio in the bustling Grace Bay area. This role is based in our Events department; with the core of the role being design of flowers for weddings and events. We are the largest florist in the Turks & Caicos and produce florals for hundreds of events and weddings each year; from intimate elopements to large luxury weddings.
Key duties of the role include:
- Design and execution of flowers for weddings/events
- Client meetings
- Creating design proposals for large and small scale weddings/events
- Creating estimates and invoices using QuickBooks Online
- Budgeting and cost calculations for large-scale floral designs
- Regular ordering of florals
- Managing operational and admin functions to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to an exceptional standard
- Working closely with FEA team to produce events; clearly directing florists on creating your designs, and attending/managing installs on site
- Manage venue and supplier relationships and developing new ones

The ideal applicant for this role is an outgoing, fast-thinking and passionate individual. We are looking for someone with great people skills, as the role involves managing relationships with clients and suppliers on a regular basis. You should also have a creative side; the ability to imagine beautiful designs, fit them to budgets, and bring them to reality. Please see other requirements below:
- Previous experience working with flowers or in events/weddings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Understanding of how to communicate with clients in an appropriate, friendly and professional manner
- Ability to prioritise, organise, and manage time effectively – the successful candidate is likely to have many tasks at once
- Works well in a team environment and independently
- Creative eye
- Computer literacy – Gmail, Microsoft docs, Google drive etc
- Sales knowledge
- Understanding of logistics/ops
- Understanding of budgeting/pricing
Hours of Work:
There are no normal working hours for this role. Weekends will be busy. A typical work week in TCI is 44 hours.
