We are looking for an ambitious and energetic junior florist who loves plants and flowers to join the core team at NB Flowers on a part-time basis.

We are a small, friendly team, working discreetly for some of London’s most discerning clients. We are looking for a hands-on team player, who is looking to learn from our senior florist to gain experience to provide flowers to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, punctual, with a high attention to detail and hunger to grow and develop to become a key player in our team.

In particular, this role will involve the day-to-day maintenance and weekly installation of flowers and plants in a large private members club in Mayfair. You will also work as part of the team providing flowers for other corporate contracts, events and weekly house flowers.

Must have a clean driving license and be willing to drive vans in central London.

DESCRIPTION:
- Making flowers for events, contracts, and private orders assigned to you
- Ordering flowers with wholesale market traders
- Collecting and checking flowers and conditioning
- Ensuring all the props are available for our event
- Going on-site to deliver and set up installations
- Maintaining contract flowers through the week
- Assisting with preparation of Christmas decorations
- Help in keeping the unit tidy, and washing vases.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A passion for flowers
- Good flower knowledge including an appreciation English flowers and seasonality
- Good eye for detail and high standards of delivery
- Good verbal and written English
- Minimum one year floristry experience or other relevant experience.
- Basic Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
- Organised and self-motivated individual that works well under pressure
- Considerate and supportive team player with proactive attitude
- Responsible, accountable, punctual, and reliable
