We have a vacancy for a Warehouse Supervisor and Driver, who will report to our Studio Manager.

Job Summary: WildAbout is a leader in the luxury events industry, providing top-quality products and services for a wide range of clients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Warehouse Manager and Driver.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our warehouse operations, and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of event equipment and supplies. You will also be responsible for driving our company vehicles to deliver and pick up materials, events and subsidiaries, as well as assisting with event set-up and clears.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, as this role works closely with the studio manager, office and wider team; as well as a strong attention to detail. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, you should have a valid driver's license to drive a large van and a clean driving record.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Dependant on experience, with a six-month review. Auto-enrolment pension. 20-days annual leave. Paid via our rota system (Tanda), which will monitor your weekly hours. Paid respectively on the 10th of the following month. Overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked between 10pm – 4am.

Hours: An average of 40 hours per week. Weekend work is essential and days off in the week will be given to cover hours.

Criteria: A minimum of two years’ experience in the events industry, able to lead a team in the studio and on site. Computer literate. A full, clean driving license is also required. You must be a team player and happy to work flexible hours in the studio and onsite.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of all event equipment and supplies
  • Coordinate the delivery and pick-up schedule for materials and ensure timely and efficient transportation
  • Assist with event set-up and clears, including lifting and moving heavy equipment
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling
    and storage procedures are followed
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries
  • Be the first point of contact for all warehouse-based issues.
  • Go to market as and when required
  • Create a system that works for you to ensure the smooth running of all hire and return of hardware
  • Keeping the studio clean and tidy with the Studio manager
  • Regular stock takes and implementation of systems to manage this with the Studio manager
  • Keeping the external part of the studio clean and tidy and liaise with any external contractors to uphold this
